Jaimey Tison

About Me

Welcome! My name is Jaimey Tison and my pronouns are they/them. I am from the Northern Metro Detroit area and went to high school at International Academy Central in Bloomfield Hills, though I was born and raised in Lake Orion. I fell in love with music as soon as I started playing piano when I was four or five years old, but it wasn't until I joined band in middle school that I started playing the saxophone. Now I am making music my career and will be playing saxophone with world class musicians! I hope that as a music educator, I will have as great of an impact on my future students as my own teachers have had on me. Thank you, teachers, for all the good you do in the world, and I hope to join you soon!
